By becoming a member, you unlock the power to borrow all sorts of useful Things from any of our four locations across Bristol and South Gloucestershire, as well as any new ones we open in the future. Here’s how you can join, what it costs, and why it’s such a great idea for you, your wallet, and the planet.

Simple Steps to Membership

1. Fill out our registration form

It only takes a couple of minutes.

2. Check your email

We'll send you a quick link to verify it’s really you and set up your payment.

3. Select and pay for your membership

  • Standard Membership: £50 per year
  • Concession Membership: £20 per year
    (for students, low income or other concessions)
  • Supporter Membership: £80 per year
    (helps us offer more concession places - thank you!)

    How to Borrow

    1. Select & reserve items

    Log in and browse our Borrow Things page. Choose your preferred branch, pick what you need and reserve it for up to two weeks at a time.

    2. Pop in to pick up

    On your first visit, bring proof of name and address (like your driving licence or a utility bill).

    3. The fun bit – use your Things!

  • Tackle that DIY job without buying tools you’ll use once.
  • Taking a camping trip? No problem! Borrow tents, stoves, beds and sleeping bags.
  • Cater for parties with party kits, cake tins and more.

    • 4. Return when you’re done

    Drop everything back by the return date so someone else can enjoy borrowing too. Just remember to check our opening times!
