What is the Community Hub?

The Community Hub at Share Bristol Bedminster has:

  • information and resources to help you find out more about the area, particularly for people who have recently arrived in Bedminster
  • a variety of free and low cost activities delivered by various organisations – anything from crafts to local history groups to film nights to repair cafes
  • a community toilet and water refill point
  • a community pantry for sharing food from those who have too much to those who have too little
  • a rough sleeper resource for those needing dry bedding and similar

Share Bristol Bedminster has step-free access through double doors and a large downstairs toilet with grab rails that we hope is accessible for most people. If you are worried about visiting for any reason at all, please get in touch to have a chat.

The Community Hub is designed for adults and young people aged over 16, and the building is not suitable for younger children due to the equipment stored there. Children are permitted to visit but must be under your close supervision at all times. Most events will be for over 16s only and you must ask in advance if you would like to attend an activity but would need to bring a baby or child with you.
