We will: 

• Comply with and exceed all relevant regulatory environmental requirements
• Regularly monitor and improve our environmental performance
• Regularly monitor and reduce our environmental impact by recording the amount of waste that is produced and the amount of energy that is consumed.
• Incorporate environmental factors into our business decision making, including selection of suppliers and partners
• Increase environmental awareness of all our people through initial induction, engagement in making this policy real in our Library, and ongoing training
• Encourage our customers and other stakeholders to reduce their environmental impact, and facilitate this as much as practicable when visiting our Library
• Be accountable to our members by reporting on our environmental impact and improvements made annually.
